Taiwan Clusters

The Taiwanese clusters mainly consist of SMEs, Taiwan’s essential role in business, and also other organisations, such as research centres, universities and business incubators. They often develop a science or industrial park to fulfill the needs of a strategic sector and dynamise the regional economy. The clusters, therefore, improve the deep specialisation of Taiwan's high-tech industry and help build a great variety of businesses. Also, industrial associations play a critical role in boosting international collaboration through clusters.

Taiwan’s Startup Ecosystem

Taiwan’s startup ecosystem is experiencing a positive momentum underpinned by a fast growth economic rate. The underlying cause of this positive growth can be attributed to a number of variables, including many government initiatives, a more positive risk taking attitude from investors towards flowing capital resources into the ecosystem, and corporations becoming more actively involved in the startup scene.
